This is because Pysonix combined these two elements to form the Rocket League: with remote-controlled racing cars, the goal in different game modes is the same as in football: a much larger ball than the cars must be delivered to the opponent’s goal. Whoever scores more points (i.e. goals) than his opponent wins the match. In the event of a tie, there will be a overtime where the first party to score will win the match.
